Cursed Crown provides enough combat power to preserve 50 gold, collect maximum interest, and finish the 3-star upgrades. If your second Augment does not provide enough gold, 3-starring every champion may be unrealistic. In that case, prioritize 3-starring the itemized carries, then level up.
This comp is especially strong when you have Cursed Crown, can build Kayle's items, and find several copies of Ornn and Kayle. Reaching 3-star Ornn early grants more Artifact items sooner and raises the comp's ceiling.
Cursed Crown supplies enough mid-game strength that, unless a loss is likely, you can save gold while selecting Augments and charms that support the goal of 3-starring 8 champions. Reroll in rounds you expect to lose to complete a 2-star or 3-star upgrade. Across Stages 2~3, almost no option is stronger than Cursed Crown.
Once the deck is complete, choose your charms carefully. Position Kayle away from stuns such as Sentinel's ability, Blackthorn's effect, and Lux's ability.
