Use Void Rift in lane to clear minions while applying stacks of Organic Deconstruction to enemy champions. Fire Plasma Fission at an angle to hit targets outside of its direct range. Be cautious when using Life Form Disintegration Ray, as it can be easily interrupted by enemy crowd control.

Tip

Avoid Thresh’s Death Sentence (Q) by staying behind minions! If your AD champion is pulled instead, use all of your skills to nuke Thresh instead of overextending to target enemy AD champion. Vel’Koz has the upper hand as long as Death Sentence (Q) is on cooldown.
