Ideas for this area in Bubbly Basin?

I'm already obsessed with the little garden area in bubbly basin so I'm restoring it! I found a little rocky pit behind the seating area and evened it out so it aligned w the patio part but I'm not sure what I should fill it with to decorate? It looks like it should be a fountain imo but i'm not really sure how to do an underwater fountain lol.. Has anyone else restored this area yet?
