What have you done with this area of rocky ridges?

I like decorating without changing the overall shape of the areas I'm in but maaaan, the "party zone" of rocky ridges is giving me ZERO inspo, I have no idea of what to do. In my first playthrough I just kinda... ignored its existence, but now I want to have a fully decorated world and this area is HORRIBLE. What have you guys done with it? Any ideas of what I could do that don't include terraforming the whole thing? Thx!
