Single specimen successfully produced. Artificial creation of a new species possessing both quadrupedal characteristics and wings achieved.
Specimen immediately transferred to cultivation apparatus. Subsequent condition favorable. Growth proceeding normally.
Replication attempted using identical procedures. No reproduction of results.
Success determined to be a miraculous occurrence attributable to unknown external factors.

Shadowbeak. Observation to continue.However, inability to identify reproducible procedures presents a significant problem.
Future experiments to proceed by following current methodology with several minor adjustments.
Addendum: Disappearance of Alex, who served as a lab assistant, remains a concern.
