Master Yi is highly vulnerable to CC. Use Alpha Strike (Q) defensively to dodge crucial enemy CC abilities or engage only after they've been used to maximize survival. Prioritize jungle farming over early ganks to scale quickly. Build attack speed/on-hit items like Blade of the Ruined King, Guinsoo's Rageblade, and Kraken Slayer for mid-to-late game carry potential. Engage cautiously, capitalizing on ally CC setups or when enemy CC abilities are on cooldown. Avoid reckless entries and identify optimal angles for teamfights.
