Kayn is weak before she reaches level 6. She does not deal much damage and lacks movement skills, making her an easy kill if your abilities land successfully. She becomes a ranged dealer after reaching level 6, not to mention her invulnerability on (R). However, it does not change the fact that she lacks movement skills, leaving her vulnerable to ganks. Call your jungler often.
