Although Zed can use (W)-(E)-(Q) from afar to contest Azir, it does not deal a lot of damage early on. However, Zed will try to use (R) post-level 6 to get a kill, so try to use [R] to push Zed away. Purchase Zhonya’s Hourglass quickly, or even just Seeker’s Armguard for its bonus armor.
